Cheesy Chili - Lactose-Free Recipe

Classic chili flavor, with added cheesy goodness

Ingredients
  

  • 4 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ground oregano
  • 1 dash ground pepper
  • cayenne pepper to taste
  • 1 lb Ground turkey
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 1 can light red kidney beans low sodium
  • 1 can black beans low sodium
  • 1 can Rotel
  • 16 oz block of aged cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup lactose free milk - maybe needs adjusted

Instructions
 

  • Brown ground turkey until cooked through.
  • Once meat is cooked, Lower temp to medium. Add Rotel (not drained). Add beans (drained). Chop and add in onion.
  • Add in all other ingredients besides cheese and milk. Stir well.
  • Chop cheese into cubes. Add cheese and milk. Stir until cheese is melted. And serve!
