Cheesy Chili - Lactose-Free Recipe
Classic chili flavor, with added cheesy goodness
Ingredients
- 4 tsp chili powder
- 2 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground oregano
- 1 dash ground pepper
- cayenne pepper to taste
- 1 lb Ground turkey
- 1/2 medium onion
- 1 can light red kidney beans low sodium
- 1 can black beans low sodium
- 1 can Rotel
- 16 oz block of aged cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup lactose free milk - maybe needs adjusted
Instructions
- Brown ground turkey until cooked through.
- Once meat is cooked, Lower temp to medium. Add Rotel (not drained). Add beans (drained). Chop and add in onion.
- Add in all other ingredients besides cheese and milk. Stir well.
- Chop cheese into cubes. Add cheese and milk. Stir until cheese is melted. And serve!
